newhaven quay residence at canal point
Newhaven Quay Residence. Concept Design to Construction Documents, Cayman Islands. 4,000 sq. ft.
Designed by award-winning architect Robert Towell, Newhaven Quay pairs
striking contemporary architecture with interiors calibrated for daily ease. Our
role was to soften generous volumes and make the house feel distinctly lived-in—introducing green wall installations, rich textures and a curated lighting scheme that shifts from daylight clarity to evening glow.
The arrival sequence is private and composed: a quiet waterfall feature leads to a verdant courtyard where pool and garden unfold as the home’s central vista. Inside, expansive glazing draws nature deep into the plan while layered screening and planting preserve discretion. A palette of grounding neutrals, refined metals and bespoke millwork carries through the living spaces for an atmosphere that is both serene and architectural.
Programmatically, the residence is tailored for modern island life: four en-suite
bedrooms, including an owner’s suite with walk-in closet and spa bath
overlooking the pool, gardens and canal; a light-filled lobby; formal kitchen and dining; chef’s kitchen with pantry; home cinema; and a private office with en-suite. Outdoors, three distinct garden areas support different rhythms of the day, culminating in a generous poolside gazebo with covered lounge. Two roof terraces extend living to the sky—one fitted as a gym—while a large garage accommodates multiple vehicles. The result is Cayman Islands luxury living with clarity, comfort and quiet theatre.
Cooke residence in south sound
Cooke Residence, new build. Concept to Construction Documents, Cayman Islands. 4,500 sq. ft.
Conceived for effortless daily life and generous entertaining, the Cooke Residence brings architectural ambition together with quiet comfort. A double-height great room forms the heart of the home—its full-height glazing sliding open to the pool terrace, barbecue and gardens. The interior language is warm and exacting: tailored millwork, grounded woods and pale textured upholstery set against reflective luxury stone that catches the last light of day and multiplies sunset tones. Integrated, indirect lighting traces coves and joinery to keep the volume calm after dark, while acoustic softness and careful sightlines maintain intimacy within the openness.
Function is quietly high-tech. A chef-level, AI-enabled kitchen anchors family rituals; concealed AV and in-table power support gatherings without visual clutter. Private realms are planned for real life: a separate guest suite for long stays, a media room for screening nights, a home office for focus, and en-suite bedrooms for privacy. Utility and a multi-bay garage are positioned for effortless flow between indoor living and outdoor play—including pickleball courts and lush planting—so the house shifts from weekday routine to weekend celebration with ease.
catalina bay at george town yacht club
Catalina Bay residences, fit-out. Concept to Construction Documents, GTYC, Cayman Islands. 36,000 sq. ft.
Set along the George Town Yacht Club marina, Catalina Bay combines spacious apartment layouts with a distinctly Caymanian character. Working closely with the developer, we crafted the design language and pre-sales visuals that helped the team achieve sales targets in a quarter of the time it usually takes. We then carried the project through all stages to construction documents, ensuring that what was sold is precisely what was built.
Buyers select from two cohesive finish stories—Nautical and West Indies—each supplied as a complete package of materials, fixtures, and fittings. Details evoke the romance of seafaring Cayman while remaining thoroughly contemporary: Cedar-lined wardrobes, T&G feature walls, rustic wood pieces, brass accents, and subtle references to rope and sea glass.
Living spaces open to balconies overlooking the marina and Barcadère, feature calm colour schemes and durable finishes suitable for waterfront living. Top-floor residences benefit from vaulted ceilings that double perceived height and create dramatic, light-filled interiors. The result is an effortless escape in the heart of George Town, Cayman Islands—luxury living blending heritage and modernity.
harbour walk residences
Harbour Walk mixed-use development. Concept to Completion, Cayman Islands. 60,000 sq. ft.
Harbour Walk is among Cayman’s first true mixed-use precincts—conceived to let residents live, work, exercise and entertain without leaving the address. Our brief spanned the public realm, office fitouts, and the interiors of every apartment type, demanding a coherent language across a complex program.
Grounding materials—textured stones and warm mineral finishes—anchor the common areas, while lush landscaping in a central courtyard draws light and nature deep into the plan. Subtle, layered lighting and clear directional signage choreograph movement from reception through lobbies and corridors to shared offices, kitchen and conference spaces. The palette remains quiet and contemporary, so the tropical greens and sky do the talking.
Apartment interiors maximise volume and outlook within compact footprints: Clean lines, integrated storage, and private outdoor space with views to the courtyard or surrounding district. The tone is calm and modern—Cayman Islands luxury living made practical for everyday life.
CASA CONCORDIA IN HAVANA, CUBA
Casa Concordia, luxury apartment, renovation. Concept to Completion, Havana, Cuba. 2,500 sq. ft.
Originally developed by the team behind Hotel Nacional as exclusive short-stay lodgings—guests of legend included Al Capone—this 5th-floor residence has been carefully reimagined as Casa Concordia: two adjoining, three-bedroom apartments with en-suite bathrooms, a kitchen, dining area, living space, and a gracious entrance.
The project involved a complete redistribution of space and a comprehensive system renewal, yet the building's identity remains intact. We preserved original shutters and doors with bottle-green glass, ornate plaster ceilings, and handcrafted floors featuring floral motifs, contrasting them with subtle, modern finishes and bespoke lighting. Balconies overlook a cinematic panorama—the city’s ever-changing rooftops and the sea beyond—providing guests with an oasis of calm above the street’s lively rhythm. Finishing touches like the Murano glass chandelier and sconces were flown to Havana from the Ritz in Cayman.
Soon after launching, Casa Concordia welcomed a distinguished group of visitors, including an Airbnb co-founder, during its opening in Cuba. The promise remains: an oasis of tranquillity and proximity to authentic Havana, all from a beautifully restored building in the historic centre.
